Adulting 101 Fair

New Norway School hosted the Adulting 101 Fair, organized by the BRSD Mental Health Capacity Building Program.  Various community partners joined us with the goal of helping our students from grades 9 through to grade 12 prepare for life beyond high school.  Students learned about the programs offered by Family Community Social Services.  They learned about insurance and registration with Western Financial. They learned about the recreation options with the City of Camrose.  Students learned about the Camrose Library programs and resources available.  Careers counselors were on hand to help guide students with their future plans.  Coldwell Realty shared information from buying homes to the finances of living arrangements while attending university.  Students learned about how Victim Services can be accessed and how they can help.  They even learned how to do laundry!  Two lucky Spartans won door prizes.   Thank you to all that attended and made this event a huge success!
